In June a new contract <\/a>was signed between Capenhurst Nuclear Services and Cavendish Nuclear<\/a>. <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The contract is to transfer all of the depleted Uranium which is currently stored at the Capenhurst plant in to new storage vessels. <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This work will commence in 2020. <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Until then the current depleted uranium, and any more which is produced, will continue to be stored in drums around the plant in the form of a Uranium Hexafluoride.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Not Just at capenhurst.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cavendish Nuclear <\/b><\/span>is a <\/b><\/span>subsidiary o<\/b><\/span>f <\/b><\/span>Babcock International, <\/b><\/span>which is a major player<\/a> in the nukiller power industry.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Babcock International is the world’s 26th largest arms-producing\/military services company<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet again this illustrates the very close relationship which exists between the military and nukiller power industry.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
