style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">On August 8th it was five years since the start of t<a href=\"https:\/\/kicknuclear.com\/weekly-vigil-outside-japanese-embassy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he weekly <\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Kick Nuclear and <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">JAN UK<\/span><\/span><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">vigil\u00a0 outside <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">of the <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Japanese Embassy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">This is not something to celebrate, as there will be nothing to celebrate until there are no more nukiller reactors operating in Japan.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">In the meanwhile, if anyone is in London on a Friday morning, then they should come join in this ongoing protest.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">New Nukiller Waste Train leaflet<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">We have just published a new leaflet about the transport of high lever nukiller waste by DRS [Direct Rail Services].<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">It can be distributed outside of any of the railway stations where used atomic fuel rods are taken through.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">The leaflet is entitled Beware.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">If you wish to take a part in the campaign to stop this waste being taken through our towns and city,<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span like the money markets are now getting the message that there is no money to be made in the nukiller industry.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">Here is what has been happening with just three of these companies of late.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Areva<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/areva-restructuring-kia-idUSL5N1KQ3A5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">&#8216;Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) will sell its nearly five percent stake in Areva to the French state as the nuclear group is delisted and will stay away from nuclear investment.&#8217;<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">It will be making an 86% loss on these shares.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Toshiba<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.japantimes.co.jp\/news\/2017\/08\/01\/business\/corporate-business\/toshiba-shares-demoted-first-section-tokyo-stock-exchange\/#.WYgXHFGQzZ4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">&#8216; Toshiba shares demoted from first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange&#8217;<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 EDF<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">In march we read that:-<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityam.com\/260502\/edfs-share-price-has-tumbled-all-time-low-launches-eur4b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">&#8216;EDF&#8217;s share price has tumbled to an all-time low after it launched a \u20ac4bn capital raising.&#8217;<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">While in July we read: &#8211; <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/uk.reuters.com\/article\/edf-results-idUKL5N1KJ1HF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">&#8216;French state-controlled utility EDF said its first-half 2017 core earnings dropped nearly 22 percent to 6.99 billion euros ($8.17 billion) as two nuclear plants remained closed and competition weighed on retail electricity prices.&#8217;<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">Some 10 years ago EDF shares were valued at around 83 Euro.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">They are now worth just 8.75 Euro.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">The Golden Question.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">There are two major questions which we keep asking.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">Just which nukiller power companies has both Urenco and Toshiba Westinghouse got contracts with?<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">&amp;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">Just where does the enriched Uranium and Fuel rods produced at Springfields go to ?<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">All we ever get to read are a few reports which give us just a hint of where that might be.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">Thus we welcome any scraps of information which will help us to answer these questions.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria,serif;\">Shipping Report<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p
