Don’t Hex the Hex.
Uranium Hexafluoride:
The Uranium enrichment process at Capenhurst in volves the use of Uranium Hexafluoride (Hex).
Once enriched in the form of a Uranium Hexafluoride, it is transported by Advance Uranium Asset Management (AUAM) on public highways to the Toshiba owned Westinghouse Springfields plant near Preston. It is then converted to atomic fuel rods.
A vast and unknown quantity of depleted Hex is in storage at the Capenhurst plant.
